The Chair of the Queensland Competition Authority (QCA), Professor Roy Green, has decided not to seek reappointment when his term expires in June this year.
Professor Green said that he was proud of what he had been able to achieve at the QCA.
“My term as QCA Chair will end on 4 June 2018, and I have decided not to seek re-appointment,” Professor Green said.
“Over the past three years, I have been proud of the important work that the QCA has done to ensure a fair, level playing field for Queensland consumers and businesses alike.
“I will be leaving the QCA with a great sense of satisfaction in the considerable amount of work undertaken and the achievements by the organisation and my fellow Board members.
“I wish the QCA the best as I move on with new roles, including as Chair of the Port of Newcastle.”
