Seqwater provides urban and industrial bulk water supply and irrigation supply services in south east Queensland (SEQ).
In May 2017, the Queensland Government asked us to investigate pricing practices relating to the monopoly business activity of bulk water supply by Seqwater, under section 23 of the Queensland Competition Authority Act 1997. The objective of the review was to recommend bulk water prices for customers in SEQ for the period 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2021.
We submitted our final report to the Queensland Government on 28 March 2018 and published the report on our website on 9 April 2018.
