On 24 June 2014, we published our final decision on GSL arrangements, which is available below.
The review of arrangements related to minimum service standards was remove MSS provisions from the Code from 1 July 2014. Otherwise, our final decision maintains our draft decision, with the exception of a minor amendment concerning clause 2.5.8 of the Code (planned interruption GSLs).
The Code changes required to give effect to our final decision were gazetted on 31 October 2014 and took effect on 1 July 2015.

On 22 August 2013 we released a discussion paper setting out the key issues for consideration.
Submissions on the paper closed on 27 September 2013 and 5 submissions were received.
On 3 March 2014, we released a draft decision, which can be accessed below.
Submissions in response to the draft decision closed on 28 March 2014 and four submissions (including one confidential submission) were received. The non-confidential submissions can be accessed below.
Under the version of the Electricity Industry Code (the Code) in force when this review commenced (version 15), we were required to review the MSS and GSL arrangements and associated payments to apply to Energex and Ergon Energy from the beginning of the next regulatory control period, commencing 1 July 2015.
However, the review of MSS arrangements was discontinued in late May 2014, following the decision to remove MSS provisions from the Code from 1 July 2014.
On 24 June 2014, we completed our review of GSL arrangements by releasing a final decision.
