Distribution reliability standards

The distribution network reliability framework includes performance, planning and reporting obligations that are part of Energex’s and Ergon Energy’s licences to distribute electricity in Queensland.

Guaranteed service levels (GSLs)

The Electricity Distribution Network Code sets GSLs, which apply to Energex and Ergon Energy. GSL payments are an acknowledgement that residential and small business customers are inconvenienced when Energex or Ergon Energy do not meet the service standards outlined in the scheme.
