Retailers

In regional Queensland, Ergon Retail is the main retailer of electricity.

In south east Queensland, where retail prices are deregulated, over 35 retailers sell electricity to customers. Customers can choose their retailer, using the website Energy Made Easy to compare offers.

Distributors

Queensland has two distribution businesses—Energex and Ergon Energy.

Energex supplies south east Queensland, and Ergon Energy supplies regional Queensland.
