Our main roles are to enforce compliance with the Gas Distribution Network Code and monitor developments in the competitive market.

Small-customer disconnection reports
Before 1 July 2015, we were required to monitor and publish annual customer disconnection and complaints data collected from retailers on a quarterly basis. Distributors were also required to report, on a quarterly basis, disconnections they have performed at the request of each retailer and at their own instigation.
Review of Small Customer Gas Pricing and Competition
In April 2008, the Minister for Mines and Energy (the Minister) directed us to review small customer gas pricing and competition in the Queensland retail gas market. The review examined current market issues in the interests of gas customers, incumbent retail market participants and new entrants.
