On 29 May 2015, we released a final report on the feed-in tariff to apply in regional Queensland for 2015–16. We also gazetted the feed-in tariff of 6.026 c/ kWh. A fact sheet that explained the final report was developed together with a media release.
On 2 June 2015, we published a revised final report, which corrected the feed-in tariff for an error in the energy loss factor. The corrected tariff of 6.348 c/ kWh is slightly lower than the current tariff (6.53c/kWh) but higher than the rate announced on 29 May 2015. A correction has also been issued in the Queensland Government Gazette.
Our fact sheet and media releases have also been updated to reflect the corrected tariff.
On 8 April 2015, the Minister for Energy and Water Supply directed the QCA to set the feed-in tariff for small-scale solar PV owners in regional Queensland, for 2015–16, using the same methodology as for 2014–15.
