We released a final determination on regulated retail electricity prices for regional Queensland in 2017–18 on 31 May 2017.
However, on the same day, the Minister for Energy, Biofuels and Water Supply informed us that Energy Queensland was directed to revise its 2017–18 network prices by removing the costs associated with the Solar Bonus Scheme.
The Minister issued us with a new delegation to set regulated retail electricity prices for 2017–18.
We released our final determination on 2017–18 regulated retail electricity prices for regional Queensland on 16 June 2017. It was issued under the May delegation and superseded the one published on 31 May 2017.
The regulated prices were published on 16 June 2017 replaced those published in the Queensland Government Gazette on 31 May 2017.
We released our draft determination on 2017–18 regulated retail electricity prices on 24 February 2017 and received 11 stakeholder submissions in response. As part of our consultation program on the draft determination we held workshops around the state in March 2017.

On 10 November 2016 the Minister for Energy, Biofuels and Water Supply issued us with a delegation to set regulated retail electricity prices for regional Queensland from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018.
We released an interim consultation paper on 16 November 2016 and received eight stakeholder submissions in response.
